- had another great breakfast at the hotel
- tried to go to the Getty Center only to find out it was closed on Mondays (don't worry, we made it the next day)
- went to University of Southern California, Roman's upcoming grad school, to check out the campus and some of the film buildings; pretty much everything was recently renovated in the film department and it looks awesome, Roman is psyched
- walked along Venice Beach, stopping in various shops and by the skate park, where we were thoroughly impressed by the talent on display; John wore his Celtics shirt and got many good and bad reactions to it after the previous night's game
- ate lunch at In-N-Out Burger, a first for Sam, Roman, and John
- met up with Lisette and her sister Monique, who was celebrating her birthday and checking out a cool art bookstore very close to the hotel
- came back to the hotel for another swim session before resting for a little
- went to dinner at a sushi place chosen from a cluster of 5 or 6 nearby the hotel; Lisette and Monique met up with us and walked back to the hotel, where we played a couple of games of dominoes before they went home and we went to sleep
