- ate some homemade buttermilk and oat pancakes, made by Chef Jim Epstein
- departed for Mount Lemmon and stopped on the road for a geocache at "Dead Man's Curve"
- drove up Mount Lemmon, stopping along the way for pictures, and had a picnic at the top
- on the way back down we attempted another geocache hiking through difficult rocky terrain in our flipflops but we were let down by the lack of service for our GPS
- drove all the way across to the other side of the city to San Xavier Mission and just missed getting inside (we got there at 4:59pm and it closed at 5pm)
- settled for fried bread at small stand in the parking lot owned by some Pascua Yaqui Native Americans; tried it with powdered sugar, honey, and chili
- went to Best Buy to pick up an external hard drive (now named Boris) for all of the wonderful pictures Roman has been taking, as well as a power cord for Sam's GPS
- swam at Greg's pool while Greg napped
- Father Jim cooked us up some nice steaks, potatoes, and corn
- picked out a variety of "fancy" beers at the local liquor store (old ale exists, we discovered)
- hung out in the common house playing ping pong with Greg's friends Dora, Elisa, Pirmin, Drew, and Manny
- ordered Wing Stop buffalo, lemon pepper, barbecue, and Hawaiian wings
- went hot tubbing with Dora; Sam passed out with his feet in the tub (he hadn't slept at all the previous night)
