Day 11: Tucson, AZ

- Sam woke up early and went bike shopping with Mr. Epstein; he didn't buy anything but picked out a top candidate for purchase
- Greg, Roman, and John went out for breakfast at Bobo's, where they had incredible chocolate chip, banana, and blueberry pancakes
- Greg and John took Roman to an empty parking lot and gave him his first driving lesson! Roman did a great job and was upgraded to small neighborhood driving by the end
- we all met up on 4th Avenue and Roman had his first Dairy Queen before we went to Bicas, a used bike store and quasi-art museum (pieces made using old parts of bikes)
- went to the McKale Center at U of A (where Greg's beloved Wildcats play), followed by the school's poetry library and photo gallery
- went rock wall climbing at Rocks & Ropes; got buff
- returned home and started an Alice in Wonderland-themed scavenger hunt around the cohousing complex put together by Greg's brother Eric
- finally put together some loads of laundry
- had to put the hunt on hold to go eat dinner with Greg's family and Dora at Ghandi's, and then dessert at Frost (the hazelnut gelato was amazing)
- finished the hunt after over 10 different stops with various clues; the last stop was a giant skull locked away in the wall of a loft on the top floor (Roman was scared)
- Roman and John took a quick dip in the pool before everyone went to sleep
